1. Agreement to these terms
These terms govern your use of the MentorHer Rising website at mentorherrising.com and the MentorHer Rising mobile application (together, “the service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by them.
If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Our privacy policy forms part of these terms.
2. Who we are
MentorHer Rising is a guided personal-development service. The legal entity, registered office, and formal contact details will be added after owner and legal review, before this service is launched.
3. Your account
- You must meet the minimum age requirement confirmed before launch to create an account.
- You must give accurate information when you register, and keep it current.
- Your account is personal to you. Do not share your login with anyone else.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
4. What we provide
MentorHer Rising provides a guided 30-day personal development journey, a daily practice and reflection tool, a mood check-in, a private journal, progress tracking, and — for members — access to a community, a content library, live group sessions, and one-to-one mentoring at the premium tier.
Features may be added, changed, or withdrawn as the service develops. Where a change materially reduces what a paid tier includes, we will tell you in advance.
5. Not medical or therapeutic care
If you are struggling with your mental health, please speak to a doctor or licensed mental-health professional. If you are in crisis or at risk of harm, contact local emergency services or a crisis line immediately.
Mood check-ins are a self-reflection tool. They are not a clinical assessment and are not monitored in real time.
6. Free and paid membership
The Rising tier is free. It includes the full 30-Day Butterfly Challenge, the daily practice, mood check-in, streaks, your private journal, and your Certificate of Transformation.
Paid tiers add community access, the full library, milestone badges, live group sessions, and — at the Mentorship tier — one-to-one sessions and a personalised growth plan. Final prices will be displayed before any purchase can be made.
7. Billing and renewal
- Paid memberships are billed in advance, monthly or yearly as you select.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, until you cancel.
- Payment is taken by the approved processor, or by Apple or Google where you subscribed through an app store.
- Prices are exclusive of applicable taxes, which are added where required.
- If a payment fails, paid features may be suspended until it succeeds.
8. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a paid membership at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep paid access until then and are not charged again.
- Cancelling does not delete your account. Your free Rising access continues.
- The final refund policy will be shown before paid memberships launch.
- App-store cancellations and refunds are handled by that store under its own terms.
9. App store purchases
If you subscribe through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that purchase is also governed by the store’s terms. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are managed in your store account settings.
10. Community guidelines
The community exists so women can be honest without performing. That depends on everyone treating it with care. When posting, you agree to:
- Treat other members with respect, including when you disagree.
- Keep what others share within the community.
- Not post harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, spam, or recruitment.
- Not give medical, legal, or financial advice to other members.
- Not share another person’s private information.
11. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you write — your journal entries, reflections, and community posts.
For content you choose to post publicly in the community, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, and display it so the community can function. That licence ends when you delete the content, other than copies retained in backups for a limited period.
12. Our content
The daily practices, prompts, library material, certificates, brand marks, and design of the service are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and other laws.
You may use them for your own personal development. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or use them to build a competing service.
13. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service unlawfully, or to harm or harass anyone.
- Attempt to access another member’s account or journal.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or interfere with the service.
- Scrape, copy, or extract content or member data by automated means.
- Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with us.
14. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time from the app settings. Deletion of your information is described in our privacy policy.
We may suspend or terminate an account where these terms are breached, activity puts other members at risk, or the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to put things right first.
15. Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Personal growth depends on many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee any particular outcome from completing the journey or from any mentoring session.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or data arising from use of the service.
The final liability cap and jurisdiction-specific terms require legal review before paid service launch. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Changes to the service and these terms
We may update these terms as the service develops or the law changes. Where changes are material, we will notify members in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
18. Governing law and disputes
The governing law, court jurisdiction, and any arbitration process will be inserted only after the owner and legal counsel confirm the operating entity and jurisdiction. Nothing here affects consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law of your country of residence.
19. Contact us
If you have any question about these terms, please get in touch. We answer personally.
The support email, legal email, entity name, and business address are awaiting owner confirmation and will be published before launch.
This page covers MentorHer Rising only. The wider-work brands shown on the homepage publish their own terms and privacy information.
